Guess its that time of year again.... didn't put the roof on last year at all, but went for a spin today, came home and thought "sure why not".

Then noticed a scratch on the roof that I'm sure wasn't there when it was last put away. Will add that to the "to do" list

That's the trouble - the roof was put away in its padded cover about 2 years ago (it wasn't used last year), so I don't know how, or what, might have happened :?:

Thankfully it doesn't detract from the enjoyment factor - tho went out for a drive today and thought 'wish I could drop the roof'! (There's just no pleasing some people!!).

Wondering if there is anything stuck inside the cover that might be responsible for the scratch?
I used the slk to go to town today, far too cold to sit in galways horrible traffic with the roof down

Hi guys

Long time no see. This week I got the five home from my brother in law where he patch the sills for me. Started to cleaned down the engine and make a list of parts needed. It’ll need a re spray so I’m hoping I can gather the cash before the summer this year. Would really like to go on a spin.

Nice bit of work done on the sills, is the radiator the original?, only asking as it looks like the ones that crack the header tank.

Happy new year too. Yes the rad is the original. Most of the car is all original G Ltd with 100kms on the clock.

Hadn’t heard about that rad issue, is it a random event or age, mileage related?
