ok, brought the 5 home to west cork for the weekend for the first time, lovely spin down, the father and brother brought her for a spin and when i got her back i noticed a distinct scraping under the passenger side, not constant, just going over bumpy roads, when i got back to the city i took a look underneath and there's what looks like a plastic cover hanging down on one side, it looks like a clip or something has come loose (is any of this making sense?)
anyhow, does anyone know how easy/difficult this is to fix? it looks like it could just be clipped back up but i'm not small enough to get under the car and i'm not sure if it'll cost a redicilous amt to bring it to the garage. its not causing immediate damage i'd say but i'd rather have it fixed than have it ware away over time, also if its a cover for something its obviously serving a purpose. any ideas?

It just sounds like the front air dam has come loose, they are held in place by screws iirc. I'm sure a friendly mx5'er in cork could sort it for you pretty quickly. Any one out there fancy helping a damsel in distress???
