Patsy Nobbis wrote:Hi Ollie. Have just joined the club and noticed the run in the Midlands. I live in Tullamore, so its on my home patch. Only problem is that I don't have an MX 5 but I am on the look out for one. For my sins, however, I do have a Suzuki Cappuccino (sorry!!) and would love to join the run and talk to MX 5 owners. Would I be allowed? Please!!

BTW, if anyone knows anyone that wants a 94 "Cappo", please send them my way. Also if anyone is selling a 98-00 MX 5, can you please let me know. When I get time, I will post the Cappo on the "For Sale" section. Bye for now. Paschal

Welcome to the club
Don't apologise for having the cappo,I think they are a lovely thing. In fact I was looking for one of them prior to getting the 5. They are rare enough too so don't sell it too cheap 8) . Sure if we allow the odd Porsche and Triumph on the runs, why not a Suzuki?? The cappo is probably closer in pedigree anyhow

Exams

Postby SADriver » Fri, 01 Aug 2008 3:18 +0000

OK well I have just realized I have 3 exams the following week (Monday to Wednesday) :( :( So I really shouldn't go. But what the heck :) I'll be going

Is it a good idea to change the Air filter and all that stuff before the mazda people see it? being non original and all ???
Never knew what fun was till I found the MX5

Have always fancied a Cappuccinno - looked at a couple before I bought my second 5 - the ones I looked at were in crap condition - would still fancy one to go with the five - if only I had the readies - dream on

Looking forward to seeing it on the Midlands run .....

Found this Great B&B in Abbeyleix -

€65 for the night, nice place and secure parking.
I spoke to the land lady - she has vacancies !

A few of us are going to go for grub and pints in Morrisseys in Abbeyleix on Sat night next - should be good craic. If anyone wants to change their plans and come the sat night, please do - it'll be good fun!
