Hiya All,

This is just my two pennies (sorry....I mean cents) worth. I quite like the informality of the "club" to date and it suits me great whereby you can dip in/dip out, go to runs, help each other out. Its a bit like mates down the pub to me.

Whilst growth is good, its not the be all and end all for me (i get enough of that sh@te at work). Having said that, i would love the opportunity to do mondello or even the nurburgring (mentioned in another post) and I realise that this might be difficult (at least financially) without support etc. Therefore, want i would like to get a handle on is would this kind of thing only be possible if a formal club was setup? i.e would we have to pay a certain fee and get Mazda shirts/jackets as some kind of members gift etc.

Please understand that i am not trying to cause strife but just seeking opinions at this moment in time.

Oh, and on the other point.

Its still summer innit?

I thought the following months were attached to seasons

Dec/Jan/Feb - WInter
Mar/Apr/May - Spring
June/July/Aug - Summer
Sept/Oct/Nov - Autumn

Or is the following more realistic

Dec/Jan/Feb - Winter
Mar - Spring
Apr/May - Summer (1)
June/July/Aug - Wet season
Sept - Damp Season
Oct - Summer (2)
Nov - Pre-winter

Nah Ollie, we are now into Autumn, or Fall as our American members call it. June and July are the monsoon season..who'll ever forget 20th June ( day before "Summer " solstice) on the Waterford run?? Serious washout :( :( :(

John,

I wonder if this is one of those cross-channel differences. In the UK, the "true" summer months are June/July/August. i.e. At school, sept is the start of the Autumn term.

ah well, vive la difference

Someone to chat to Mazda and see what the best deal can be arranged for our club and for mazda?
btw - Thanks for all the votes of confidence.

However, to make a positive contribution and to have a pragmatic outlook on this approach by Mazda, i'll be happy to speak to Mazda for and behalf of us - if thats what ye all want?

Questions to ye all tho' -

What do ye want?
PM me your answers.
Steve, you might give me a call on the moby for a chat. :D
