strawberry Hall Monthly Meet

Postby ger » Sun, 31 Aug 2008 10:22 +0000

Is ths now over?

Where have all the dublin members gone?
I know the weather hasnt been great but you could always expect a few people to turn up. In the past I've seen as many as 15 5's in the car park.

The new speed bumps are excessive on the old lucan road,
Maybe we should change the venue for the dublin monthly meet.

Any suggestions?

Skerries or Howth would be a lovely place. I'll be up for that.

Hi,

Last month it was just Frank & me at the Strawberry Beds. I must say that a different venue would suit me, & the Blue light would be good, but is the car park big enough?
No more Mk1, now driving an '08 Mk3. Still fun!

What about a couple of venues on a rotational basis, this might give more members a better chance to get to one of the meets. I've only managed to get to one in the past because Wednesday nights are awkward for me.??

I suppose it may be a good idea to alternate between north and south side venues, any suggestions on a good NS venue?

There are two carparks at the blue light, should be plenty on room.

The normal meet is this wed should we pick a new location for this month?

Who would be interested in trying out the blue light on Wed? say 8pm

Speaking as a relative newbie would it be worth putting up a sticky about any regular meets?

I'd love to go on one of the Dublin runs, can't this week but would love the chance to go for a spin at least once a month on a regular basis.

I think Robin mentioned to me on the Midlands run that there are 2 in Dublin, strawberry hall and pope's cross I think they were?

As a South sider .. not too sure about north side locations, but anywhere along the coast would be lovely, Lusk?

Well I'm from swords and I know abit of areas but I'll have to think about it. behind the air port maybe to the N2 and then back from ashbourne depending on how long you want the drive? we could always meet at the coach mens pub near the airport.
Never knew what fun was till I found the MX5
