Some of you may remember how this:
   was transformed into this:
by two scumbags from Darndale last March.
I had a visit from the 2 arresting officers last Saturday, and they want me in court for the trial of the passenger next Monday. The driver won't be up for another few months because he's a juvenile.
I'll be sure to let you know the outcome

Hopefully you won't get a judge who sympathises with the youth of today because theirs nothing for them to do and and is more concerned with getting himeslf onto the 1st tee - not that that would ever happen !!!!

hey colm, hope you get on ok with this, best of luck, but at least they have the intention of prosicuting them,my car was broken into last year along with 3 others the same night(over 1000 damage done to each car),the guards caught your man that did it after a long chase(with a shovel in his hand),they took fingerprints and sent a file to the d.p.p or something and they came back and said there wasnt enough evidence to prosicute him because"no one saw him doing the act",it would only be trown out of court! even the guard dealing with it thought it was a joke, what a country this is like!!1990 Eunos Roadster 1.6: cusco coilovers, carbing front and rear strut braces, 1.8 brakes, performance engine and diff mounts, stage 2 cerametalic 6 puck 1.8 clutch with lightweight JUN 1.8 flywheel, 1.8 LSD, GReddy manifold, Garrett T25 turbo, ARTech down pipe, E-Manage blue ecu, Altezza injectors, FMIC. Hi Colm, glad to hear you get your day in court. I never got mine after worse was done to my civic a few years back. Heartbreaking, isn't it? Suddenly I wasn't a liberal any more.
Hope all's well with the little one & the buggyman!

 All the best, Simon
No more Mk1, now driving an '08 Mk3. Still fun!

Well I got my day in court.
The little scumbag was up on 3 charges - Stealing a car on 14th Feb, criminal damage to a car on 15th of Feb, and being a passenger in a stolen car (mine) on 25th Feb.
His barrister stood up and said that he was a poor unfortunate who was mixing with a bad crowd, and had taken drugs (cannabis) and he was on a FAS course, and he was very cooperative with the Gardai when he was arrested, etc. etc.

He was put forward for a probation hearing in November, so he might just get community service or something.

As for the car, AXA took it and it was sold on to a dealer. I'd say it was/will be repaired as it was a financial rather than physical write off. It may be back on a road near you soon.
