My question is has anybody used those cd cleaning discs and are the any use or is there anything else i can do

CD player wont play all cd'sThe cd player in the car is not working properly and seems to have developed a mind of its own. It will only play certain CD's and will just spit others out not playing anything but sounds like its trying to read them.

![]() take an airline to it Dave.............and give it a gentle blast of air into the cd slot, not a full blast mind........did this once and worked for me.
Dust builds up everywhere including the places you cant see it. worth a blast........get it......i made funny there.......... ![]() ![]()

![]() Of course you've checked that the CDs that are failing aren't scratched or covered in fingermarks? Some of mine have got scratched from years bouncing around in the glove box...
BTW maybe suction might be better than blowing - that way you remove dust rather than blow it around? Simon No more Mk1, now driving an '08 Mk3. Still fun!
![]() those cleaning cds work well enough Dave. they just have a small 'brush' on them to clean the reader
