Postby ger » Sun, 02 Nov 2008 1:51 +0000

will mk 2.5 high back seats fit into a mk 1?

I am fitting a harddog deuce twin hoop roll bar and from the pics ive seen the high backs look way better.

what kind of money should i expect to pay?

Hi Ger,

I paid £220 for a set in perfect condition from ebay, luckily I managed to pull favours to get them back from England for £50. I don't know if they fit in a MK1 as I put mine in an early MK2.

They should fit alright, and if not anything can be made to hit with some fine tuning.

High Back seats

Good choice, if they are any use to you I have a mint set of Roadster Original seats very rare Factory Leather in matt black that I got from Japan, they came from a 1991 J Limited that a collecter converted to "yellow" seats, these arrived to me wrapped in plastic, from the look of them they were never sat on and they would look the finest with no mods required, bolt and enjoy !!!! 1989 in Mariner Blue, tan hood and glass rear window all original except 15" alloys

i was thinking more of the high backs for filling the hoops on the harddog,
they sit a bit higher than a style bar.
