Good to see some interest in FI with these cars. Stuart its not as hard as it sounds. As Rhys said, start reading. All the info is on the web, start by ordering a mega squirt for a guy called Reverent on nutz or miata turbo. Sometimes he does group buys which reduces the cost. the ECU will take a few week to arrive, this gives you time to source the other parts. There is a guy on nutz called Sturovo who is making turbo kits, manifold, down pipe, oil and water lines for £400 odd quid. Notice I said 'kit'. Plug and play mega squirt and a turbo kit is fairly simple to install. If you get stuck there is help on here or a local garage should be able to complete it. Intercoolers are available as 'kit's too.

I think the hardest part of mine was the injectors as I had to rewire the injector loom. Again Reverent will advise if this is necessary. I wouldn't buy second hand injectors or an ECU, if these are faulty they will break your heart and possibly car. Its not worth it.

Mine will probably be off the road at the end of the month so if you want to see one let me know.

If there was a tech day id go and help as best i can

With regards to injectors, i have rx7 460cc redtops and at almost a bar the duty cycles is below 80% so theyre more than good enough. They were only 100 dollars off a dude in the states.

Didnt know Sturuvo made kits. His car is insane

All of the advice above is spot on. These guys know their stuff :)
bend the rules............rule the bends

I really need to get on these sites.. Been lagging behind in my research as I ran into an issue with my diff, but all this is valuable knowledge.
Will be reaching out to Reverent about a megasquirt for the car soon. :)
